Our clients are anxious to make greener choices. We’ve being doing sustainable “best practices” in our business for many years.
Green building practices encompass three main areas: energy efficiency, resource effectiveness and good indoor air quality. While many environmental decisions occur during the design phase, the construction process can also have a positive impact, yielding a healthy indoor environment and maximization of natural resources. Coyle Brothers have adopted an approach to green building that makes use of materials with recycled content, regionally-sourced materials and Forest Stewardship Council certified wood, where possible. For improved indoor air quality, Coyle Brothers uses low or zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints, coatings, sealants and adhesives. In addition, we manage our demolition and construction waste by channelling it away from the landfill to recycling or salvage facilities.
